eek to go before the NFL season kicks off two big things happen around the league. The first is that we see all the teams making cuts to get their rosters down to that magical 53 or even less. The second is that www.billscheapshop.com , with so many cuts taking place around the league, the waiver wire goes crazy with teams picking up players just released hours earlier. This week on the AFC East roundup we will be looking at some interesting signings that the teams made while working their roster to 53. Buffalo BillsThe Bills made two interesting claims to note, adding two guys from division rival, New England. The first is cornerback Ryan Lewis who was on the Patriots practice squad last season. The six foot corner is hoping to find his spot in a secondary that has been shaky at times in the preseason. The other claim was Corey Bojorquez who is expected to be the starting punter after the team released Colton Schmidt. Bojorquez did not have a single punt in the preseason but he does kick with his left foot which sometimes proves challenging for returners. Buffalo is hoping to get a similar magic like the Patriots do when they take on former Bills.New England PatriotsThe Pats tried to bolster their wide reciever group singing Amara Darboh and Chad Hansen. They have been looking for new threats on the outside after Erik Decker announced his retirement earlier in the week. Both players were drafted in 2017 and are both 6’2” adding some size for Tom Brady to look at. Something to note that even though he has not been signed, there has been rumors of the team targeting former Bill, Brandon Reilly which would drive Bills fans crazy, especially after the success of Chris Hogan. New York JetsThe Jets decided to stay in house with their roster, electing to just make the necessary roster moves to get to 53 without signing or claiming any outside players. All ten of the players on the practice squad where also on the team at some point in the offseason so New York was confident with all of the players they brought in during the offseason. After trading Teddy Bridgewater earlier in the week, it will be the Sam Darnold show with Josh McCown as the backup.Miami DolphinsMiami added two players to their rosters off waivers in quarterback Luke Falk and receiver Tanner McEvoy. Falk was a sixth-round pick of the Titans this year after playing three seasons at Washington State. McEvoy has been on the Seahawks the last two seasons after coming out as an undrafted free agent. A surprising cut from the team was tackle Sam Young. The nine-year veteran was looking to have a solid role on the team but may return after Week 1 when veteran’s salaries are not fully guaranteed.Buffalo Bills injury update: AJ McCarron back, Julian Stanford out The Buffalo Bills have avoided most major injuries this offseason Cheap Zay Jones Jersey , even after a scare following the second preseason game when they believed quarterback AJ McCarron broken his collarbone. McCarron’s return highlights the injury report from head coach Sean McDermott on Monday.According to McDermott, McCarron was healthy enough to be the emergency quarterback on Sunday. He mentioned the lack of practice as the reason the veteran didn’t see the field. Coach continued saying McCarron was “good to go” moving forward.“Look, he’s been going through some treatment and coming off the injury still, guys, but he’s sore,” said McDermott when pressed. “That’s what happens in the game; you get sore. Is sore 100 percent? That’s, I guess, in the eyes of the beholder at that point. He was coming off of an injury there, so who is 100 percent, right Bills Marcus Murphy Jersey , at this point in camp?”The only new injury to come from Sunday’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals was a nose injury to backup linebacker Julian Stanford, who is week-to-week with a nose injury. Stanford had been pushing for a roster spot as a special teamer and reserve linebacker.“We’re still gathering information right now, so we’re a little bit early on that. Other than that, no real changes in the other injuries that you knew going into the game,” added McDermott.Veteran defensive tackle Kyle Williams and defensive end Trent Murphy worked with the rest of the team in individual drills Monday, but it was such a light practice no one had helmets. That makes it tough to tell how ready they are and both will be held out of Thursday’s preseason finale. The same can probably be said for tackle Dion Dawkins and running back LeSean McCoy, who both missed the game on Sunday. With roster spots locked up, they won’t see the field. The Bills have an off day Tuesday followed by a travel day Wednesday, so we won’t get an injury update until after the game against the Chicago Bears.
